365 Project–day 61

Photobucket I am participating in the 2011 Mommytography 365 Project! For this year long project I will be posting an image a day, to get me out shooting, using my camera and learning new things with it daily. Anyone interested in photography can join, no need to be a Mommytographer. We have teens to adults, male and female, as well as people from all over the world. Come join the fun!

Does your kids have the Star Wars bug?   Mine sure does…   Right now, they are going through the TV series Clone Wars for the 2nd time because Alexandre has worked enough to be able to purchase the 2nd season.   The price being better in the US, we will get it on our next trip to Ogdensburg or Massena.    In the meantime, they all want to have some coloring pages of Star Wars.   We found some on the internet.   Even my 3 years old daughter caught the bug.   She loves Ashoka even pretend to be her (and to be honest she would do a very good Jedi).

In our family we also have a tradition concerning the Star Wars movies.  At age 5, a child can watch the original three movies.   At age 7, he/she will be allowed to watch Episode I, II and III.   Why?  We find the the newer movies are a bit more violent than the original ones.   Besides, haven’t we watched them in that order too?   Keeping the tradition alive…  *grin*

  1. Wow! YOUNG for all of your age traditions. Our kids had to wait until 8 for even the first 3. Then 10-12 for the newer ones.
