Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

My friend Shannon came over for supper with her family a few weeks ago and brought the most delicious

Peanut butter cup cookies

Ingredients

Chocolate chip cookie dough*

Mini Peanut butter cups

*those who are keen bakers may wish to make their own dough but the recipe traditionally calls for premade chocolate chip cookie dough by Pillsbury.

Directions

  1. Roll dough into 24 small balls and place on in each spot in mini muffin tin.  Squish them a bit with a mini tart shaper like the one from The Pampered Chef that I have.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes (be sure to remove wrappers from the peanut butter cups while you wait!   or get your kids involved with this step…)
  3. Remove from oven, immediately press mini peanut butter cups into center of each spot in mini muffin tin.
  4. Bake for 1 more minute.
  5. Remove and cool either on counter or if in a hurry in fridge or freezer.

These are so YUMMY you won’t be able to resist them! 

Shannon had also brought a special ice cream to go with it. – the   Peanut Butter Chocolate Persuasion® Ice Cream from M&M Meat Shop which was TOTALLY and AMAZINGLY delicious.
