About the book
The decisions you make and the way you treat others have more impact than you may ever realize.

Speaker and New York Times best-selling author Andy Andrews shares a compelling and powerful story about a decision one man made over a hundred years ago, and the ripple effect it’s had on us individually, and nationwide, today. It’s a story that will inspire courage and wisdom in the decisions we make, as well as affect the way we treat others through our lifetime. Andrews speaks over 100 times a year, and The Butterfly Effect is his #1 most requested story.

Also included with the purchase of the book is a link to view a 9-minute message of Andrews telling The Butterfly Effect story to a live audience.

Who is Andy Andrews?
Andy Andrews, hailed by a New York Times writer as someone who has quietly become "one of the most influential people in America,” is a best-selling novelist and in-demand corporate speaker for the world’s largest organizations. The Traveler’s Gift, a featured book selection of ABC’s Good Morning America, has been translated into nearly twenty languages and was on the New York Times bestseller list for seventeen weeks.

Andy has spoken at the request of four different United States presidents and toured military bases around the world, being called upon by the Department of Defense to speak to the troops. Arguably, there is no single person on the planet better at weaving subtle yet life-changing lessons into riveting tales of adventure and intrigue—both on paper and on stage.

My Thoughts
This book is the adult version of the same story found in The Boy Who Changed The World.  I think the cover is very beautiful and would attract someone who wants to buy a special book as a gift.  The butterfly on the covers is shiny and gives the impression of moving a bit while placing the book under the light.  The photos in this book are breath taking and illustrate properly the text that you will read.

The story behind this book is very interesting and will help you to reflect on the possible consequences on whatever you do in life.   Actually, there are two stories in this book.  The first one is about an event that happened in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.    Americans will know the importance of this battle while others, like Canadians, who are not so knowledgeable about American History will discover the importance of persistence.

When you are discourage and don’t see how important you are, this book is a good reminder that no matter what we are important even when things are though and we can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel.  Personally, I thought it was inspiring and a good reminder that even the little things I do on a daily basis will have an impact.   You see I am homeschooling my kids and sometimes I wonder and question myself about it.   But when I read this kind of book or testimonies of how homeschool was wonderful for others, I am encourage to pursue and persevere.

This book is definitively a wonderful gift to give to someone who is going through hard time or just to give to an hostess.    I strongly recommend it to be inspired and motivated by it.
